BFC0683 Peacock

Not rated yet

This peacock measures 16.1 by 9.8 inches! And - he is NOT a window set! You will stitch him as one embroidery on one piece of fabric. I have worked out a new way to align designs that worked even for me (who has to be the worst at lining up designs). You will get full instructions with pictures on how to stitch your designs together. They are digitized so they mesh together and you won't even see where you joined them. Please read all instructions before beginning and don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. I substituted some metallic threads for the wall hanging below.

Can't you see him on a jacket back, a chair back, the middle of a tablecloth or a picture? And - there are hardly any jumps!

NEW!! You will also receive this same design in two sections for commercial machines.

Good Morning, Found the color charts for the Hibiscus and Window Fantasy II. The Question now is if you have suggestions to do this in metallic. What colors would you use. I normally use Kingstar metallic because they are so easy to run but their colors are limited. You have some beautiful metallic, could you do a metallic substitution or would you mix with poly? I'm also thinking white peacock. Thanks for any input and have a Blessed Day. pat

Hi Pat - on the peacock I would use a coppery gold color to replace the gold colored thread. I prefer to have just an accent of metallic thread rather than a lot of it - I think it's more dramatic that way. I don't think I would use metallic on the hibiscus - except on the top of the stamen. On the floral fantasy I think the metallic would take away from the shading. I love metallic thread, but I don't these three are best suited for it, other than the peacock. :)
    Thanks - Suz
