Fred has been doing a lot of painting lately and this design comes from one of his recent canvases. It is sized for the 4x4 hoop.

I came across this cat on an art site and fell in love with him. I wrote to the artist, Daniel, and he gave me permission to create a design of him. You will get four sizes - from small to jumbo. The picture comes from a vest I made with Egyptian fabric for the front and gold fairy frost for the back. I used the jumbo size and and put a turquoise crystal for his eye.

This is the Bird you can use in the Birdhouse project above. He is very dense so he can be sewn on just water soluble stabilizer. Be sure to use a sharp needle! He is designed to have a few *feathery* threads on the edges. If necessary, just trim off any of these that aren't attractive once he's dry. He will fit easily in a 4x4 hoop.

Here is an alphabet to go with all the geishas running around this site! They include all capital letters and the numbers 0-9

For everyone wanting to try free standing lace and making a necklace, this design has been created especially to do this! You only need water soluble stabilizer. I used gold and two shades of green metallic, but you can use any thread you want. I recommend using the same thread in the bobbin as on the top.
