The first thing I thought of when I saw the artwork I used for this design was Mondrian - the Dutch Painter. He even did a single cat in a similar style. You can read about him here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piet_Mondrian. He used mostly squares and rectangles primary bright colors in his paintings.
I can see these cats on a denim shirt, or a framed picture for the Den or hall, a lap quilt with the cats in the center and bright colored squares and rectangles around them.

I can see two cats doing this around a corner! You can sure tell what they feel from their expressions. LOL I did these with regular design punching - no free motion as the Cat right before these two. I can see these two along the seam in a pair of Jeans. My jeans days are over (LOL) or I would them on a pair!

To make any color cat, just choose the fabric you like best and match the thread for the satin stitch border. Full instructions included.
You can stitch this as an applique design or just stitch the cat on a piece of fabric. For example, on white fabric stitch all in black or vice versa. Or change the black to gray (or the color of your cat) and stitch the flowers in a pretty color that goes with your project.

You hear so much about Winged Cats - good and bad. I was very interested when I read of the first mentions of winged Cats: "In Norse mythology, the topic of winged cats comes up. Freja, the goddess or love, beauty, fertility, gold, war, and death (wow, that’s a lot of things!), had horse-sized winged cats who led her chariot. Bast/Bastet was the protector and guardian of Lower Egypt. She was the patron goddess of fire fighters, because the Egyptians believed that a cat running through a building on fire would draw the flames out. She was also one of the goddesses who was known as the "eye of Ra" or the "eye of Atum," the sun.She was also the goddess of protection, pleasure, and the bringer of good health. She had the head of a cat and a slender female body. Bastet was the daughter of Ra, sister of Sekhmet, the wife of Ptah, and the mother of Mihos. Since the Second Dynasty, Bastet was worshiped as a deity, most commonly in Lower Egypt.
Delight has created her version of Bastet. She has the demeanor of many Egyption Goddesses, and has the large decorated collar and arm bands so often shown on Bastet. The main difference is her legs!

The winged cat is a theme in artwork and legend going back to prehistory, especially mythological depictions Classical antiquity had many winged creatures such as the winged horse known as a pegasus. There are two references in the Judeo-Christian Bible to winged beasts - usually a lion.
Delight's gorgeous kitty reminds me almost of a Monarch Butterfly! (a customers suggestion!) In this set you will receive two versions of the cat - one wingless and one with wings, and a small design of the mushrooms. You will also receive the entire picture in 3 commercial sizes. If you don't have a large enough hoop for these, you can create a background from grassy, leafy green fabric and a gray and black forest. You could also use a green/brown fabric for the top that looks like tree trunks I experimented with mica powder to create the silvery trails of the fairies - i talk about this in the instructions.

I wanted to do some designs for the younger set, but with a little more to them than just cartoons. I think these hipster pets are just the thing! They are cute characters, but are still very similar to the real animals. These come in

Zentangle designs are lots of fun. I’ve liked the look of the filled Zentangle, but the designs can be quite stitch intensive. These designs are a combination of open and filled work. They are also done in neutral colors so the designs become the point of attraction! You can of course use other colors – just exchange the lightest color in the design with the lightest new color you want to use.
I think these designs are great for clothing. I can see the Ostrich or Giraffe, for example, popping out from a jacket pocket. Or put the cat right on a pocket. Any of them in a large size would be great on the back of a shirt, vest or jacket. Or stitch one in the lower corner of the front of a garment. They could also play around the edge of a neat skirt!!

Each cat comes in two versions: one is for applique, the whole body and head of the cat is one piece of fabric to minimize stitching. The second version is a fully stitched design with a full underlay to prevent puckers. The accessory designs can be used with them or for other projects. For example you could put the clock on either side of Steampunk Kitty, or flowers on either side of Flower Child.

Ching Chou includes a lot of cats in her Fantasy drawings of fairies and mermaids. Loving cats, I thought they were worth their own designs! Though all are fanciful, some would be very realistic done in more realistic colors. Artwork for this set was painted by Fantasy Artist Ching Chou Kuik. Ching Chou and I have signed a licensing contract for me to use her artwork in creating embroidery designs. The artwork of course remains the copyrighted property of Ching Chou Kuik. I had really planned to finish this wall hanging! I placed it on the couch so I could decide what color to use and Duma decided it made a nice companion. Rick took the photo and I still haven't finished the project. LOL This would make a great gift for any cat lover!
You also receive a satin stitch border you can use with the designs. You stitch it after the design is finished and then zig zag the sections together. Or you can use iron on bias tape to finish the seams and make it a real *window*.
