It has been a while since I have done a Large Horse. I have chosen a very dramatic Horse portrait. It would look wonderful as a framed picture or on the back of a black jacket. Please note the areas of black are fabric- black thread is not used in the is design.

Steampunk has become very popular. This Bear, a symbol of strength and confidence, though primarily steampunk, also has the appearance of a tribal design. It has a perfect blend of different elements. It would really look wonderful on the back of jacket or as a framed picture.

I plan to make a lap quilt with these designs. There will be more of them so there will be plenty to work with. I will make a pieced fabric background to represent the forest and the ocean. I was going to start with these, but I want to make sure I start large enough so I will have room for all of them! I will post progress on this to the BFC BLOG. Many times you find that a subtle design in black and white can be more dramatic than a lot of colors. I would love this Elephant on the back of a jacket or a pillow in the appropriate room. Sighting a Doe with her Fawn is a natural wonder of the forest. A fawn has around 300 spots! Usually by fall they have all dimmed away.

This poor Lemur couldn't take it anymore and fell asleep right where he sat! Lemurs are on the 10 top endangered species list. They are found only in Madagascar - an island off Africa. Its name comes from Roman Mythology for a word meaning ghosts or spirits due to it's slow pace.
A Commercial size BFC1418commercial (12.4” x 7.0”) of the entire Large Sleeping Lemur will be included in the complete set.

We've had many requests for elephants. This Mother and Child can be stitched as a picture as shown or they would also make a great pillow. They would even look great on the back of a jacket! They come with alignment lines to line up the sections in addition to instructions and templates. The finished size of the elephants is:

I have had many requests for a forest or woodland scene. The focal point of this picture is a large buck watching over the forest. I am doing this from various photos of animals, but the scene is my own artwork.
The small set of designs will make a picture (without any borders added) 11.6" x 15.5", the medium set will be 15"x20" and the large, 17.5"x23".

I find the faces of these fawns and their parents irresistible. They can decorate clothing, linens, purses and totes - just about anything that you want to add an appealing design. They can also be framed - singly or stitched in groups.
