  •  These designs are great for kitchen and clothing items.  Each Motif (Peacock, Tree and Horse) have 5 designs.  Three of the designs make a larger embroidery.  You will find templates in with your color charts to use to make these composites.  In addition there are 2 small designs for each motif to use as accessory designs.  The top and bottom designs of each composite embroidery also make great borders!  You will find many ways to combine these designs in different ways.  In addition to towels as I made, you could make matching appliance covers, place mats, and curtains with the borders, tablecloths and aprons. All elements in these designs have an edge stitch underlay and a zig zag underlay to make them really stand out.

  •  These designs are taken from some Vintage French Fashion Plates. You can use these ladies on many projects, but I thought they were perfect for a tote bag.  The bag comes in three sizes and the ruffled trim is optional. What is a little different about this tote bag is the inside.  There are two side pockets in the lining that have stiff interfacing.  On the inside facing side of each pocket there are more pockets.  There are also two stiff side pockets.  And to finish the structure is a fabric covered stiff bag bottom.  The inner stiff pockets keep the bag in shape and also keep the items in the smaller pockets from pulling the lining out of shape. Full instructions and templates included. SIZES of Bags: 12x12, 13.5x13.5, 16x16.

  •  Two versions of designs reminiscent of the old German Glass Ornaments. One version is regular stitching and the other uses Angelina Film or Fibers. The ones with Angelina are super fast to stitch. There are lots of hints to use Angelina Fibers and Film that you can use for other designs. This set comes in small and medium sizes. Add tails and crystals for lots of Bling.

  • Large rotary waterwheels appeared in Europe and China about the same time - 200 B.C. They have fueled production ever since and are still used in many places. Though this cottage is set in England, this picture could represent many different places.

The medium set of designs will make a picture (without any borders added) 14.7"x 9.8"; the large, 17.5"x11.6" and the Jumbo, 23.4 " x 15.6".

  • These designs are based on tiles found in ancient Italian architecture. As you can see by the samples below they can look quite different depending on the colors used! This set has both regular and Quilt in the Hoop Versions included. You also get 6 of each size bonus designs to use to make the sashing pieces shown in the sample.

This set is designed to make large blocks for focal points in your quilt. You get instructions for the block as pictured below. There are of course many ways these blocks can be put together! The medium size block without the fabric sashing around it is 30 inches when complete. I am going to make another block like this and use the two for a twin size quilt, putting sashing and the designs in the other sets around them. I will probably include a row or two of the borders below. There are so many variations of how you can use all the designs in these sets to have a really one of a kind project.

  • What a great picture to stitch for Spring! A sea of tulips in the foreground and the windmill along the canal in the background.

I can see these designs as appropriate for a quilt or coverlet in addition to wall pictures. You could combine it with other spring flower designs and floral patterned fabrics.

The small window is 12x16, the medium is 15x20 and the large is 18x24. You receive full instructions on various ways of putting your window together.

  •  Designs that make great accent designs or they can be combined to create endless patterns. You could even make an overall brocaded fabric! I have done them in two of the hot colors for spring - turquoise and brown. The entire set uses 3 shades of turquoise and 4 shades of brown. It is easy to change the color scheme - for example raspberry shades of pink with green leaves.

  • Medieval embroiderers used vibrant, rich colors they could obtain from the earth. Reds, Blues, Greens and Ochres abound. These designs stitch with no jumps except for a few facial features and the outlines on the shields. They are appropriate for quilts, linens and wall hangings, but would also make interesting designs for a tote bag or the pocket of a garment.

  •  This set depicts a home in Tuscany. As the other squares are added you will see a window through the open door behind the table that looks out on the vineyard. There will also be a profusion of flowers on the right from a window box. And the main part of the house will be made of large yellow-gold stones for a very colorful picture.
This set coordinates with our other Windows on the World design sets.

  • This second in our Windows on the World series depicts one of England's finest medieval castles. The first fortification built on the grounds of Warwick Castle was erected by Ethelfieda, the daughter of Alfred the Great to protect against the Danes. After the Norman conquest in the 11th century, William the Conqueror appointed Henry de Newburgh as Earl of Warwick.

When I visited England, I spent a day in London and then rented a car and drove in a large circle around the country following the wonderful canals. What struck me was the colors of the countryside. The greens and colors of all the flowers met me at every turn. This is the England I wanted to depict in this series along with an expression of the rich history of this wonderful country. This set is done from a photo taken high on the castle looking down on the lush grounds.

This set coordinates with our other Windows on the World design sets.

The small window is 12x16, the medium is 15x20 and the large is 18x24. You receive full instructions on various ways of putting your window together.

  • Scandinavian designs are clean cut, often symmetrical to give a neat look and fit very well into many country themes. You can use these designs to create a complete quilt or as shown below smaller projects. The center design on my wall hanging is from the Scandinavian Designs set. You get full instructions on completing the designs and stitching them together. I've also included directions for the wall hanging below. These designs are completely finished right in the hoop - embroidery, backing and batting. And they have quilting that goes through to the back so you have a real quilt feel throughout your project.
