This bag is really a cross between a Tote Bag and a Handbag.  The great feature is the recessed zipper that allows you to open the bag completely and really get to the important *stuff* inside!  Also there is no lining up of designs! They are each stitched on a separate piece of fabric. I think you will be surprised how easy this bag is to make – especially the zipper.  You receive full patterns and instructions. You can make your own arrangement of designs to make different size bags.  Suggested sizes of Bag: Medium   13” x 11", Large 15.5” x 13”, Jumbo 18” x 15.5".

This is the second of two sets. The companion set is Oriental Lace - Fauna. All of the designs can be stitched on regular fabric, tulle or organza. The designs with satin borders can be made freestanding if stitched on tulle or organza. The sachet below is stitched on tulle. You will receive instructions for the samples shown in the pictures. This set is very versatile. You can make items like I have below, or make medallions and stitch them on clothing or linens, make a sheer curtain using the border and scattering lace designs throughout or combine several of the designs for an allover lace effect. There are no jumps (except to the satin stitch border) so they stitch up quickly and easily.

You will receive instructions for the samples shown in the pictures. This set is very versatile. You can make items like I have below, or make medallions and stitch them on clothing or linens, make a sheer curtain using the border and scattering lace designs throughout or combine several of the designs for an allover lace effect. They are also appropriate for quilting designs. There are no jumps (except to the satin stitch border) so they stitch up quickly and easily. I stitched the cranes on a nightgown made of very stretchy satin Lycra and as you can see, they are very appropriate for knit fabrics.

This set of designs can be stitched on regular fabric, tulle or organza. For example, the sample white curtain below was stitched on organza (without any stabilizer - very easy). In the second picture I've given some sample layouts to get you started. Because these are all in the same style as Floral Paisley Lace, the designs from both sets can be used together. The half circle can also be used as a scalloped border. These designs are perfect for tone on tone or as you can see on the black towel, very appropriate for colored or metallic threads. You will receive instructions with your designs.

 I've always loved Victorian Tambour Lace and all the lace done on tulle or fine netting. I had these types of laces in mind when designing this set. All of the designs can be stitched on regular fabric, tulle or organza. The designs with satin borders can be made freestanding if stitched on tulle or organza. You will receive instructions. This set is very versatile. You can make items like I have below, or make medallions and stitch them on clothing or linens, make a sheer curtain using the border and scattering lace designs throughout or combine several of the designs for an allover lace effect.

PLEASE NOTE regarding 4x4 size: In order to make these designs stitch well in the smaller hoops, I have modified some of them. Please click on check sizes to see these modifications. If you buy the complete set you will have the advantage of getting these additional designs.

 I used to make Bell Pulls in Needlepoint and Counted Cross Stitch Embroidery. They are great for decorating as they fit in those small unused spaces. These are all freestanding lace and the set includes two different borders. One is used if you are going to add purchased hardware as in one sample. The other borders do not need any additional hardware,also. You can hang a tassel or bell from the lower border, or just leave it as is. Since the main satin border on these squares stitches last, you can also slide fabric underneath your hoop before the last border stitches if you prefer.

A collection of free standing lace designs you can use for so many things! These designs coordinate with the Lace Bowl - Floral Elegance and Lace Tablecloths - Floral Elegance. These designs would be appropriate for table linens, curtains, clothes - just about any item that could use a bit of lace. You can also stitch the designs on fabric if you prefer. There are two large medallions that are mirror images so you can use them on a neckline or as lapels. The individual medallions can also be stitched together to create even more border possibilities.

Please check the Design Info below to see the exact designs for each size. For the borders I have included as many as possible of the borders for efficient stitching. The medium size designs are illustrated.

You can make all kinds of tablecloths, place mats, runners and doilies from this set. There are three basic designs. I have given samples of how these designs can be laid out, but there are many more possibilities! Tablecloth 1 also includes a free standing medallion to use on matching napkins. The sample design at the bottom of this page and the sample on the matching Lace Bowl can also be used to decorate linens to coordinate with your lace. Some of the panels would make a great insert for the front of a summer jacket. Each design has a two color version so you can create even more possibilities. The complete set includes a total of 60 designs for you to mix and match.

These lace designs coordinate with the Lace Bowl & doily - White Lace and there are 54 designs in all! Each design illustrated below comes in both a free standing version and a regular design version. Each of these 18 designs come in three sizes. They can be used to decorate linens and clothing. Some of the freestanding designs would also make great necklaces. For the border designs, the larger sizes are the same width border, but the design repeats as many times as possible to fill the hoop.
