With this set you have a choice of making a small picture or pillow as illustrated below, or combine the picture with the individual Ducks for a larger wall hanging. The individual Ducks would also be nice for framing or decorating just about any object. For a totally different and more dramatic look, try any of the designs on white or blue fabric. Since fabric shows through on the picture, I think a dark blue batik would make a really interesting background. To make a pillow instead of a picture, use various batik fabrics for the background and for sashing around the pictures. The colors in the ducks make them very appropriate for denim items.

Man and falcon have hunted together since the early part of the 7th century BC in Assyria. There are references to Falconry in China as early as 680 BC and Japan in 206 BC. Falcons are members of the Raptor family - Birds of Prey. They have eyes so large they can't move them and hence turn their heads to view their world. (as you can see in some of the poses below). Their eyesight is two to three times better than ours and some can see a grasshopper from the other side of a football field. These beauties with their watchful eyes would make a wonderful wall hanging when grouped together or use one of more to accent clothing, bags and pictures.

From the stately heron to the pensive ducklings, waterfowl are one of nature's adornments.
