The Tree Collar is a great way to hide the "feet" of your tree - you will stitch as many panels as is necessary to fit around the base of the tree. 

Using the 5.8x9.4 panels you can make a similar project to the one shown BUT
- it will just be a bit shorter than that of the original set  CCQ0586 - Tree Collar
You will only need this set, if the original set's panels do not fit in your hoop. 

Although the panels are ended off with an outside satin edge -
You can use trim or braid of your choice for an added extra decorative touch

The Tree Collar is a great way to hide the "feet" of your tree - you will stitch as many panels as is necessary to fit around the base of the tree. The Tree Collar measures +- 9.5 inches high when completed.

For the first one, only 10 panels were needed.

12 panels were needed for the second one.

You can use trim or braid of your choice for an added decorative touch
