What better combination than Ching Chou’s Fantasy ladies and Peacocks? This set includes both Fairies and Dryads. Dryads are wood nymphs that protect the trees. Each Dryad has her own tree to guard and take care of. They punish anything or anyone that harms the tree. But I know some people don’t care for the *pointy ears* of the Dryads so I have included alternate designs for these without the pointy ears and long fingers. You can see the alternate designs by clicking on the link below the pictures of Designs 1,2 and 6.
These wonderful ladies were created from the artwork of Fantasy Artist Ching Chou Kuik. The artwork of course remains the copyrighted property of Ching Chou Kuik. She gives permission to use these designs on items for sale as long as *artwork from Ching Chou Kuik and design from BFC* is given with the items.

The Eagle Owl is found all over Eurasia from dense forests to stark desert. He is considered by many the largest of all owls at up to 30 inches long with a wingspread up to 74”. And he weighs over 6 pounds! The Great Horned Owl, his North American equivalent is only a little over 3 pounds. When I saw Mark’s photo, I fell in love first with his eyes, then with the myriad of patterns on his feathers.
This set is designed to be stitched on one piece of fabric. The sections *mesh together* to hide seam lines. The sample I did below was done with the individual Medium size designs. Full instructions included.

A sophisticated bag but surprisingly easy to make! My goal was to create a bag with a zipper that opens really wide. The lining has loads of pockets and you have lots of designs to create additional accessories (the front of the bag is only three designs). You get full instructions to make both a medium or a large bag. The medium bag is 14" wide and 12" high (to where the straps attach) and the large is 16.5" wide and 14.2" high.

So many people loved Ching Chou's butterflies I thought it would be nice to offer two of them in wall hanging size! Though done in sections, by following the included instructions it will be very hard to find the seams when it's finished! These pictures coordinate with Fantasy Butterflies and Flowers and Fantasy Butterflies and Flowers Blackwork. In addition to pictures, I think these designs would make a great quilt center surrounded by the individual butterflies and flowers.

The Amur or Siberian Tiger is the largest of all the big cats. There are currently 400 - 500 in the wild. At one point only 20 -30 existed. Conservation efforts have helped to bring them back. They live mostly along the Amur River in Russia. Did you know that every Tiger has it's own unique pattern of stripes? And only Bengal Tigers can have a mutation that makes them white.

Green Men are sculptures, paintings or other renderings surrounded by or made from leaves. Though seen around the world, they are frequently seen as architectural features on Churches dating back to the 11th century. They signify rebirth. This is the second in our series.
Sally King has created several delightful green men using pyrography and painting. You can see this one and the others on her web site. You can use these designs as I have as one large picture, or just choose some of the designs to make a smaller finished design. There are extra designs that can be used to expand the picture.
Because there is so much emphasis now on *going green* I think these men would be fantastic designs to use on eco-friendly bags, totes, or similar projects. You will receive full instructions, patterns and thread numbers to change to the greener version shown.

I've always loved the look of variegated thread on the spool but haven't always happy with the stitched results. I have developed some techniques to minimize and soften the banding. The results are amazing! For example the third butterfly below uses just one variegated thread yet it looks like intricate shading has been used.

And she does fit the qualifications by having foliage and flowers sprouting from her hair.
