The Eagle joins our Blue and Gold Macaw, Peacock, Snowy Egret, Heron ,Scarlet Macaw and Cockatoo in our large bird series. You will receive full instructions for an easy way to line up these designs! You will also receive the entire design in several versions for large hoops. Two files are the complete design (16.9" x 8.4" and 13.5" x 6.7") and two versions are split in two sections (12.8" x 7.8" and 11" x 7.3"; and 10.2" x 6.2" and 8.7" x 5.8"). Receiving a box of silk fabric from Sylvia, the lady who sometimes sells silk on my group, gave me the inspiration for this quilt. The colors looked so great together I had to use them! I used the old monochrome Japanese landscape paintings for the general idea and added characters and foliage. You will receive full instructions, patterns and templates to complete your Art Quilt from creating the background to embellishing. I include instructions for novice quilters (no free motion) and how to get more complex for those of you that quilt. Finished size of embroidered section is 16 inches wide x 20 inches high. You can add sashings as narrow or wide as you wish.

Our majestic Crane joins our other large birds. You will receive full instructions and templates to easily create the background and finish the wall hanging. Or make your own design! I think he would also make quite a statement stitched on the back of a black jacket. Or if you have a narrow spot, stitch him onto a wall hanging! I have had many requests for a large pelican, but just didn't find the time. The plight of these wonderful birds in the Gulf has given me the inspiration. Though both parents care for the young, I have chosen a female. Their eggs will rejuvenate the species.
The Pelican is 8.2" by 17.6" (just the embroidery). You will receive 5 designs that fit a 5x7 or above hoop. You will also receive the Pelican split and sequenced in two parts for larger hoops.One part is 7.74 x 11.14 (the body) and the other is 8.87x5.04 (head).
Both versions stitch the same size Pelican. The two large designs are in DST format.

You get lots of options with these large background designs created especially to go with our two large geishas: Masami - Graceful Geisha and Ohisa - Honorable Geisha (both sold separately). You get three large designs split for a 5x7 hoop and full instructions to easily line up the sections of the designs. Plus there are three designs that will fit a 5x7 hoop without splitting. Some of the sections of the large designs can also be used by themselves for more options. In addition you get instructions and patterns to create the fabric background below. This finished picture is 36" wide x 32" tall. It would make a dramatic wall hanging or centerpiece for a quilt. The large design will also make nice pictures as shown below!

A beautiful Geisha in an ornate brocade Kimono to use as a picture, on the back of a garment or in a quilt. She measures 16.7 x 7.5 inches. (without the background designs) You get full instructions on how to easily put her together. The background designs are optional and can be used in any way you like. I created a background for her using mostly Fairy Frost fabric from Michael Miller. Ohisa coordinates with Masami - Gracious Geisha. You can see the two geishas together below the picture of Ohisa.

This peacock measures 16.1 by 9.8 inches! And - he is NOT a window set! You will stitch him as one embroidery on one piece of fabric. I have worked out a new way to align designs that worked even for me (who has to be the worst at lining up designs). You will get full instructions with pictures on how to stitch your designs together. They are digitized so they mesh together and you won't even see where you joined them. Please read all instructions before beginning and don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. I substituted some metallic threads for the wall hanging below.

These Free Standing Lace Tudor houses are the first in a series of houses and other buildings I will be creating so you can have your own embroidered Christmas village. They can be stitched on Water Soluble Stabilizer, felt or organza. This set includes both a house with dormers and regular version house. The sequencing and some of the design segments are changed in the red version so that you can choose a different colored background other than white and not interfere with the windows and to fit the regular roof. One tree is designed to use hot fix crystals or beads as ornaments. I used iridescent white glitter glue on the top of the other to look like snow. You will get full instructions with pictures on how to assemble your houses - they may either be sewed or glued together. Be sure to download the free design in case you will want icicles on your houses. The houses are approximately 4.3 by 6 inches tall not including the chimney. This set only comes in the 5x7 or larger hoop size.
