These are great designs for quick projects. So far I have seen them on sweat shirts, aprons and even a tissue cover!
I've stitched these designs in black on white so you can easily see the details. But experiment with colors! I think they would be really pretty in gold on a dark fabric. They also work very well in variegated thread.

I've been watching male and female cardinals flitting among the trees out back and I'm sure more little cardinals will soon following. These designs come in a jumbo size for the larger hoops. They would make great jacket backs! Any of the sizes would be perfect for shirts and jackets, or stitch each one and frame them for a wall grouping. These designs can be used with Cardinals. These two sets together would make a great quilt that is appropriate through all the seasons.

A beautiful picture for Easter or year-round. It is stitched on black fabric to minimize stitching time. (You can check the stitch counts by clicking on *Check Sizes* below) It also comes with satin stitch borders you can use to give a more stained glass look - you just trim and satin stitch the designs together.
The Jumbo size is 15.6 x 23.4 inches, the medium is 9.8 x 14.7 inches, and the large is 11.6 x 17.4 inches. (just the embroidery, not the frame shown)6 Designs each in 3 Sizes MLJ Check Sizes

Great for pictures, pillows, table mats or part of a quilt. To make the pictures, I stitched the birds and then fused them to pieces of fairy frost with fusible applique web. I then added trim around the edges and framed the pictures. These birds coordinate with our other In the Round sets and you can use the borders from those sets with these birds.
The medium size will make a circle 9.7" in diameter, the large 11.6" and the Jumbo 15.6".

I've marveled at Audubon paintings since I received a book of his birds as a young child. I used to draw them over and over again! I think part of my fascination was with the way he painted the eyes. These designs are taken from 6 paintings so you can combine them in one picture as I did below or use them individually as quilt blocks or accent designs on garments, linens or purses. I used the medium designs for the picture and the Jumbo size for the quilt block. The designs come in 5x5, 6x6 and 7.5 x7.5 inches.

Many of these designs are taken and modified from the Window - Sunflowers and Finches. Rick took my stitch outs and created the wall hanging below. I think he did a great job! We'll have to get him stitching soon :)

I've had two pairs of Cardinals visiting my bird feeders for the last few weeks and I couldn't resist capturing them for this bowl and the matching designs, Cardinals and Friends. One of the male cardinals is so funny as he announces himself from the trees for a good 20 minutes before he finally comes down to eat. And then he keeps chirping the whole time he is there. I wonder sometimes how he gets enough to eat!
