What better combination than Ching Chou’s Fantasy ladies and Peacocks? This set includes both Fairies and Dryads. Dryads are wood nymphs that protect the trees. Each Dryad has her own tree to guard and take care of. They punish anything or anyone that harms the tree. But I know some people don’t care for the *pointy ears* of the Dryads so I have included alternate designs for these without the pointy ears and long fingers. You can see the alternate designs by clicking on the link below the pictures of Designs 1,2 and 6.
These wonderful ladies were created from the artwork of Fantasy Artist Ching Chou Kuik. The artwork of course remains the copyrighted property of Ching Chou Kuik. She gives permission to use these designs on items for sale as long as *artwork from Ching Chou Kuik and design from BFC* is given with the items.

This Stained Glass set comes in four sizes - Small through Jumbo and includes instructions to make it as a Quilt in the Hoop project or just regular designs. Full instructions included! Use different colors for a totally different look. I made the background sections a little more sheer than usual so you can use satin, Mylar or Angelina fibers for a real sparkle. I used White Glitter Fairy Frost for my sample and it has a nice subtle sparkle when the light hits it.
Finished sizes (without any borders): Small Designs 01-15 11.7” x 18.7”, Medium Designs 16-30 14.7” x 23.5”, Large Designs 31-45 16.4” x 27.9”, Jumbo Designs 46-60 18.4” x 32.8”
Please note: Some designs are mirror images. I included them all to make it easy to line up your designs. There are 9 unique designs.

I stitched my sample (the medium size) on heavy white satin so it has an iridescence as the light changes. The second sample (using the 4x4 size) was done with the same thread but on the blue fabric used for the border. I also stitched just the 9 squares in the upper right. In addition to a picture, this Peacock would make a gorgeous center of a quilt. You could stitch him on water soluble stabilizer to keep the designs soft. QIH/Reg Stained Glass-Fantasy Phoenix is a companion design.

This set is based on one of Tiffany's stained glass peacocks. You can stitch the entire picture, or use just the middle sections to make make various size pictures or pillows. You receive full instructions on how to stitch the designs and put them together without dealing with the *fuzzies* from trimming the squares.
Please check these sizes before purchasing as this set makes large pictures! The sample below was done with the medium size designs. It fits very well between two large windows.

A bag that really makes a statement! Our peacock is perfect for lots of bling too. I didn't add any so you can see just the embroidery, but I think the black bag will definitely get lots of crystals.
Try him in different colors. I can picture a white and silver peacock on a black bag with the leaves and rose in color. Or try pastels on a white bag. If you don't want to add the inner bag, add a velcro or magnetic snap. Pockets can go on the lining too in addition to the back and side. You get full instructions and patterns. These designs come with alignment lines (you can see them in the individual pictures) with easy instructions to line up the designs. Or combine some if you have a larger hoop.
Small (for 5x7 hoop): 12 inches wide x 8.75 inches high x 4.5 inches , Medium: 15 inches wide x 11 inches high x 4.5 inches, Large: 17 inches wide x 12.5 inches high x 4.5 inches
This handbag requires the use of the Series A inner bag which is NOT included with this bag.
If you do not already have the pattern for the "Series A" inner bag:

Though paisley designs originate in Persia as vegetable motifs with a twisted tear drop shape, I have always associated them with feathers. Perhaps it is their graceful shape, or the often feather like embellishments around the edges. This bag displays both. I have done the feathers in metallic thread to make them stand out. The paisley designs would lend themselves to metallic thread too. I stitched the purse on suede cloth with quite a bit of nap.
Some other color combinations could be fall colors on a chocolate brown background, pastel shades on white faux leather or do them as tone on tone with several shades of the same colors.
This is a more constructed purse than my other bags to date: zippered pocket in lining, interfaced throughout bag and lining, padded straps and various types of pockets in and out. All of my bags are my own design and I am finding I like to design handbags! I used BFC metallic thread on this purseThe medium bag is 13.6x10.3x5 inches and the large is 16x12x6 inches.

Peacocks always make impressive embroidery and often just one can dress up any project! This collection will give you all different styles to put together or with other designs. They all have a *touch of Art Nouveau*. You can use them on clothing, linens, quilts, tote bags and purses among many other items. They are also perfect for embellishment with crystals or with beads.

This peacock measures 16.1 by 9.8 inches! And - he is NOT a window set! You will stitch him as one embroidery on one piece of fabric. I have worked out a new way to align designs that worked even for me (who has to be the worst at lining up designs). You will get full instructions with pictures on how to stitch your designs together. They are digitized so they mesh together and you won't even see where you joined them. Please read all instructions before beginning and don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. I substituted some metallic threads for the wall hanging below.
Can't you see him on a jacket back, a chair back, the middle of a tablecloth or a picture? And - there are hardly any jumps!
NEW!! You will also receive this same design in two sections for commercial machines.

These designs are reminiscent of the wonderful ceramic tiles made during the Art Nouveau period. The tiles often had many coats of glaze and were also often three dimensional. Combined with the designs in Art Nouveau Quilt Squares I you will have enough to make a full size quilt or use individual designs for pillows, towels, table runners or any place you need some bright color.

You can see how versatile these designs are by looking at how different they look using different colors! The pillow uses more *traditional* peacock colors while for the wall hanging I wanted an embroidered brocade look. You can also choose all of the designs as in the wall hanging or just some of them for a smaller stitch out as in the pillow. In addition to the designs you will receive an alternate thread chart that gives you the actual threads I used in both projects compared to the colors in the designs (the individual pictures), an actual size template of all the designs you can use to plan your project, and a special design with instructions that will help you line up designs like this easily!

Peacock feathers are perfect for decorating. They can be very bright, or done with metallic threads or even one color. The one color designs are also perfect for variegated thread. These designs can be used on blouses, jackets, linens and I think some of them would look great going up the leg of a pair of jeans. Though one peacock feather is a great decoration all by itself I've given you some ideas for combining these designs into larger embroideries or to make borders. I've included a file that lists the metallic threads I used when stitching some of the samples.

I love Peacocks but it is difficult to do Peacock designs because you lose all the beautiful detail of their feathers in a small design. So I've chosen to do a *Peacock Portrait*. I have shown the designs stitched in regular thread for the individual design pictures, but I am using many metallic threads on my large picture. I am stitching these on one piece of fabric. The designs come with basting stitches you can use to line up the designs. I have also included a file with the actual metallic threads i used and which colors I substituted with them. In addition you receive our usual Thread conversion chart showing several major brands of thread.
The small set of designs will make a picture (without any borders added) 12"x16", the medium will be 15"x20" and the large, 17.5"x23".
PLEASE NOTE: If you want to purchase the small size of this set, please check the stitch count by clicking on *Check sizes* below. There is a high stitch count in these designs and I want to be sure you are comfortable stitching them before purchasing.
