I've created this design as a tribute to my son, Fred. It reminds me of the essence of his soul - music and beauty. I'm going to find a small frame and hang it on my wall to remind me of the wonderful things in life including music and beauty.
In addition to framing, you could put this on a tote bag, a notebook, or a music portfolio.
It has a lot of stitches, but not that many colors except for the rose and I hope you will find it worth stitching! Suz

Delight designed these gorgeous Roses and Monarch Butterflies to be a bell pull. I have tweaked them a little so they can be used for a bell pull and also as individual designs. And I've taken a rose and two butterflies as additional designs to add to a main project. The designs shown on white are screen shots just to show you how they look without the black background. The bee is of course a freebie for you to try :)

Watercolor pairs wonderfully with pen and ink detail. The semi-transparent wash of color creates almost another dimension look to the painting. This style is perfect for embroidery. Sheer layers of color represent the wash of color done with watercolors. The outlines in various colors represent the pen and ink detail. Dimension is added with the two techniques, yet by nature the designs are fast stitching without a lot of stitches.
I created a picture by using some of the complete flowers and leaves designs and adding some of the outlined flower and leaves to look like a background. You will find a template to create the picture as I did or make your own arrangement. It’s easy because things don’t have to line up exactly! If you have a space somewhere, just add one of the small outline designs to fill it in. So don’t hesitate to give this a try!! You will also find instructions to make the picture as I did. This could also be a pillow, a bag front, a quilt center – you will find lots of possibilities.

I wanted to create some quick stitching light designs appropriate for spring and summer. Roses seemed the perfect subject! These would be lovely on some white curtains in a kitchen, bedroom or bath. Or use one in your favorite rose color on a special blouse. These roses are based on real varieties of roses. The designs will work well in one color also. Or you can stitch just the outlines and skip the fills to give you lots of options.

Red and Black are very sharp, clean colors together - especially against white. In addition to quilts, these designs can be used on blouses, skirts, scarves, all kind of linens bathroom accessories. A sophisticated bag but surprisingly easy to make! My goal was to create a bag with a zipper that opens really wide. The lining has loads of pockets and you have lots of designs to create additional accessories (the front of the bag is only three designs). You get full instructions to make both a medium or a large bag. The medium bag is 14" wide and 12" high (to where the straps attach) and the large is 16.5" wide and 14.2" high.

Pierre-Joseph Redouté, a Belgian artist, is well known for his flower paintings, especially his roses. He became an official court artist to Marie Antoinette though he left home at age 13 to live as an itinerant artist. I have always loved his use of color and composition. These designs can be combined to create larger embroideries or used as accent designs.

In addition to the Rose Tile you will receive stippled designs to use with fabric to make additional tiles or combine in different ways with the Rose Tile. For example, make the center roses, but border them with a stippled border using a leaf patterned fabric. Using various fabrics, you can use this set to make an entire quilt. Or use them for smaller projects as I did for the sample Centerpiece shown below. You will receive instructions on how to make the Quilt in the Hoop designs and for two different methods of assembling the tiles.

Thread List -
These roses look so real in person you want to touch them to feel the petal softness. They would be appropriate for quilts or any quilted project. You can also put them on bags and clothing. I can picture a black purse or blouse with a single rose that has a crystal placed on a petal to look like dew. You could make a linen set with roses in the corners of the table cloth and rose buds on the napkins.

These vibrant roses can be set against any color background to blend with your decor. I've always found roses very difficult to do realistically, but these look like you can smell their fragrance. They look even more alive in person!
The small set of designs will make a picture 12x16 inches, the medium set 15x20 inches and the large 18 x 24 inches. I should really call this Kay's set. :) She has been *very* patient with me to do a floral Christmas window. She chose White Roses and Holly as the theme.
This set can also be stitched on fabric by eliminating the *door*.
The small window is 12x16, the medium is 15x20 and the large is 18x24. You receive full instructions on various ways of putting your window together.

The style of this project is similar to Windows - Iris Fields and the two wall hangings would be very complimentary hung next to each other.
These 12 designs create a full picture when done. They can be combined in many ways. You will receive instructions for different methods of putting these designs together. You will also receive a border design you can use to stitch on top of the designs. Then you only have to zig zag the pieces together to create your picture!
For the sample below I have just seamed the squares, fronts facing and pressed the seams open well. I think that this will work for those of you who would prefer not to have a window frame or stained glass effect. The seams actually show much less in person than they do in the photo.The small set of designs will make a picture (without any borders added) 12"x16", the medium will be 15"x20" and the large, 17.5"x23"

Roses are always in good taste. This bowl would be the perfect gift for Birthdays, Mothers Day - any Holiday. The roses are done in two shades of apricot so it is easy to change the color to create any color roses you want - just pick two shades of another color. They can also be done in all one color as the stitches will create the shaded effect only slightly less distinct then the sample below. This bowl coordinates with the Watercolor Roses design set. The sample shown is the medium size bowl and measures 8.5 inches in diameter.

Roses join the Iris and Tulips in our Watercolor flower series. These Roses can be used to adorn summer linens or as an accent design on that special blouse or sweater. You can easily change the colors of the roses by following the shades in the design. If it calls for light, medium and dark pink, just substitute light, medium and dark yellow for example. There will be a coordinating Watercolor Rose bowl available next week just in time for Mother's Day.

You can make all kinds of roses with this set! You get 5 sizes of each design. The petals come in both solid color and shaded versions to mix and match. You can purchase all 5 sizes or just the 3 smaller sizes (this set has three designs that will not fit the 4x4 hoop, but there are other versions of the same designs in the set you can use).
