Coloring books and pages can be found everywhere.  Because they are so popular I thought it would be fun to make some designs that can be colored.  The first images on this page have been colored with Copic Markers.  The next 12 designs show the designs as they stitch out.  The next image is showing the back, These are Quilt in the Hoop designs that have top fabric, batting and backing fabric. 

National Coloring Book Day! The designs can be used as stitched and not colored - like a regular blackwork design.  Or you can stitch them with the intent to color them in.  Or stitch just the first basting stitch and the design for a block without a stitched border. You can stitch just the middle color stop for a design with no border. 

I think these will make great Christmas gifts!  The little bag I made is an example.  don't color it and include some markers in the bag for a fun DIY gift.  I made the small quilt to show you how they would look.  It is so easy!  Just zig zag the squares together and your quilt is finished both front and back.  It would also look good alternating colored and non-colored blocks. Instructions included on how to stitch the blocks and how to choose markers, etc. to use to color them.
