This square can use up to five contrasting fabrics
When you stitch nine squares, using 5 contrasting fabrics - it creates the effect shown in the multi fabric example - the fabrics give a "woven" appearance.
The red, blue and white example is an example when using 3 contrasting fabrics for your project
