Every year I do a Large Eagle close to the 4th of July. In the past I have always done a portion of the Eagle or the Flag- this time I have done both in their entirety.

Every year I do a Large Eagle close to the 4th of July. This time I have done something a little bit different and will be a good one to try if you have yet to do a Large design. It is easy to stitch and sparse-yet retains all the drama. Please note the areas of black are fabric- black thread is not used in the is design.

For the past 3 years I have done a Large Eagle with the American Flag in commemoration of America's independence on the 4th of July. This year is no exception. This is slightly more of a horizontal presentation with the flag flowing in the back. With this set there are now a total of four in the collection. They are as follows: BFC1463, BFC1574, and BFC1662.
PLEASE NOTE: This design should be stitched on white or a light color or the stripes for the flag will not be the right color. Or you can stitch the entire design on white and applique it on a darker fabric.

The Intense stare of Freedom and Determination shown in the Eagle are symbols in this important year for the US. The Eagle will make a wonderful tribute to the United States framed as below. Designs will have alignment lines and full instructions will be included. A large Commercial design (10.9X8.7) will also be included in each of the sizes. Seldom have I seen an Eagle done with such a determined and direct stare. He's definitely looking right at you! He makes a beautiful tribute to the United States framed as below. Or make a wall hanging - perhaps near your door to welcome visitors. Fred has included some lettering to help you decide.
