BFC32300 Native American Medicine Wheel
A customer hired me to make a patch for this symbol for one of her clients. She agreed to allow me to offer it to you also.
A "black, red, white and yellow sacred patch" typically refers to the Native American Medicine Wheel or the Four Directions symbol. The colors and directions hold deep spiritual significance, representing the four human races, the stages of life, and the elements of the natural world.
The specific meaning of these colors varies among different Indigenous cultures and tribes, but they generally represent:
- Yellow: Typically represents the East, the morning sun, the season of spring, and the beginning of life (infancy).
- Red: Associated with the South, the element of water, summer, and youth/adolescence.
- Black: Represents the West, the element of earth, autumn, and the adult stage of life.
- White: Corresponds to the North, the element of wind/air, winter, and the elder/wisdom stage of life
You will receive 3 sizes of a regular design and 3 sizes of a patch type design. Instructions included to make a patch.
