BFC1929 Large Tricolored Heron
Originally called the Louisiana Heron, the Tricolored Heron inhabits the coastal areas of the Americas as far south as Brazil. In size he is larger than a Snowy Egret and smaller than a great Blue Heron. He forages alone or at the edge of groups of mixed wading birds. He slowly stalks fish or pirouettes with sharp stops and turns with wings flapping and flies with head drawn in and feet trailing behind.

Each design desc ription above will state the sizes the design comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the design comes in all four hoop sizes
