Hi Bonnie Those designs are quite sheer stitching so you have a lot of options! Any kind of cotton of course would be fine. I also think they would stitch well on a couple of pieces of organza to make something to hang in the window. I would stay away from fabrics with a nubby texture....the nubs could interfere with the stitching lines. I woul recommend a medium tearaway stabilizer - either sticky or not.
