BFC0974 In Honor of the Brown Pelican

Not rated yet

I have had many requests for a large pelican, but just didn't find the time. The plight of these wonderful birds in the Gulf has given me the inspiration. Though both parents care for the young, I have chosen a female. Their eggs will rejuvenate the species.

The Pelican is 8.2" by 17.6" (just the embroidery). You will receive 5 designs that fit a 5x7 or above hoop. You will also receive the Pelican split and sequenced in two parts for larger hoops. One part is 7.74 x 11.14 (the body) and the other is 8.87x5.04 (head).
Both versions stitch the same size Pelican. The two large designs are in DST format.

Hi Betty, I understand the difficulty! Admelody thread had almost 500 colors and I'm afraid I think i used the all sometimes. But, since we have fewer BFC colors, some colors are very close. If you haven't chosen it elsewhere I would use 2943 for 431. don't hesitate to write if you need anything else. Suz

I want to purchase the thread that goes with brown pelican but the thread #'s on the chart don't match any of the thread that you sell?

Hello Jessica, We sold Admelody thread until it was no longer manufactured. That was when we came out with our own brand that was based on Admelody colors. We have a conversion chart on our website. Go to any page on the site and scroll all the way down to the bottom and you will see Conversion Charts. You will see Admelody Rayon to BFC Poly. This will help you convert to the BFC thread that we sell. Thank you and let me know ifyou have any trouble with any of the colors. Thank you - Suz

I bought the Brown pelican quite some time back. I'm now ready to do this design, but the colors are in DST. How can I change them without tediously changing each color of each part in Embird? Thanks for any help. CookieB

Hi Cookie, No need to change the colors!!!!! In fact, that can cause problems with designs sometimes. Just follow along with the color charts supplied with your designs. There is one for each design. I also sent you a document explaining all of this in answer to your contact question :) If you dont have the color charts, you can download them from th ecolorchart.zip file that came with your designs. This zip also has the instructions.

    Thankyou - Suz
