BFC1502 Approach of the Three Kings - Balthasar
King Balthasar (also known as Balthzar) a young man, very often shown with dark skin came from Saba (modern south Yemen).He brought Myrrh as his gift to the Christ Child.
Each of the 3 Kings will have three Versions. This is so you can choose the size King you want even if you only have a 5x7 Hoop Size. I stitched the third version of Balthasar on Organza. I then stitched the sections together and appliquéd them onto my medium size background, adding some stuffing as I went along. I then embellished him with hot fix crystals, beads and trims. He really stands out!
Some options for the various sizes are use the smaller version of each so you can spread them out as if coming from a distance. Or, use the largest version in the middle as I have and then the middle size version next, and the smallest last. You have many options! Using the smallest version you can also make a smaller background, or just make part of the background so a smaller wall hanging. And of course if you use all the largest versions of each King you can make an even large wall hanging!

Each design description above will state the sizes the set comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the set comes in all four hoop sizes
