Silk Bias Binding Strips
I have used these strips to finish Wall hangings and I love them! It takes a lot of fabric to make bias strips and also takes very precise cutting so they will go around corners perfectly. These are pre-cut, very soft and have a soft vintage sheen. I put one of these strips underneath the edge of a project back side up. Then stitch 1/4 inch from the edge all the way around, pulling very gently around corners. Then I turn the project over. I fold under the un-stitched edge and stitch it down. Because the strips are so precise and flexible it is very easy to keep them nice and even. This can also be down in reverse, starting on the right side, then fold over and iron the strip in place and stitch in the ditch from the top.
