BFC0598 Chinese Horses
With just a few strokes of pen or brush the Chinese artists capture the sheer strength, beauty and motion of these magnificent animals. Though coming from an Oriental source, these horses don't need to remain in an oriental setting. They can blend in with many styles and themes. The black and gray designs below could be done in many colors - brown and beige, chestnut and black, even all white. And the colored designs can also be adapted to many different horse colors. On the pillow below I substituted a silver metallic thread for the gray and pale green of the ground. Though many of the paintings I found of horses didn't have much background, they often included just a sketchy patch of grass or a hills or trees in the background. I've included two of these designs so you can make a complete arrangement of your horses.

Each design description above will state the sizes the set comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the set comes in all four hoop sizes
