BFC0687 Oriental Reflections on Black II

Not rated yet

These designs coordinate with Fred's original Oriental Reflections on Black and can be used with them. They can be used in quilting as shown below and are perfect combined with oriental fabrics. They are also appropriate as decoration for garments, purses and totes and linens. Because of their partially sheer nature, they blend perfectly with the fabric used to stitch them.

In back of at least 3 squares in this quilt, I can see a large red and gold fan, but the fan is not part of any of the designs. Is it part of the fabric you used? I can't find it in any of your oriental designs on the site.

    Hi Sara,

The quilt shown has alternating fabric blocks (that is where you see the red fan). These blocks alternate with the embroidered blocks. So in the quilt there are 6 embroidered blocks and 6 fabric blocks.
I'm sorry I don't know what the name of the fabric is. My guess would be one of the Kaufman oriental patterns. Those designs were done in 2008.
    Thank you - Suz
