BFC1819 Summer Fabric Bowl & Doily
You have a lot of options to make this Bowl and doily set. You can use the designs supplied or substitute with your own designs. You can use a plain colored fabric as I did or mix it with prints that coordinate with the designs. A quicker way would be to alternate the petals with designs and those with just fabric. I used a layer of batting in the bowl pieces to add a little more volume to them.

All of our machine embroidery designs will come in any or all of the following hoop sizes: (You will receive links to download the size(s) you purchased and all formats available)
Small for 4 x 4 inch hoop, Medium for 5 x 7 inch hoop, Large for 6 x 10 inch hoop, and Jumbo 8 x 12 inch hoop.
Each design description above will state the sizes the design comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the design comes in all four hoop sizes
Formats Available:ART4, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, JEF+(inside JEF download) PES, VIP, VP3(inside VIP download) XXX

I read all instructions, and if I missed this, I apologize. How much material is needed for the bowl and tray?

Hi Nancy – I don’t include fabric requirements for projects like this. There are different ways to do it and different sizes. The way I got about it is:
1. Decide which size I am going to make
2. Decide how many designs I can include in one hooping.
3. Figure to the total number of hoopings.
4. Figure yardage based on the size of your hoop.
The other thing is you can use the basting stitches and cut your fabric to fit so you will use a lot less.
I’m sorry I can give you a number, but it is really impossible. What I use might be totally different than what you will need.
