BFC0733 QIH Orchid Jungle Handbag

Not rated yet

The inspiration for this bag came from our Humming Bird and Orchids Window. You will receive full instructions with pictures and patterns you can print to complete the bag and lining. There are instructions for the cord strap I used below and also a more traditional fabric strap. I also describe a way to stitch this bag together that greatly minimizes the *fuzzies* problem with many Quilt in the Hoop designs even with fabric like the silk I used for my sample.

The medium bag (shown below) is 13.6" high x 15" wide and the large is 16" high x 17.8 wide.

Hello Adrie - it depends on how much you need to be able to hoop the separate sections. I don't give yardage on this type of design because it varies so much between users. I recommend printing out the pdf's for the designs and you can then cut out the design from them as they print actual size. You can figure from this how much you will need to be able to hoop all the designs. Then add to that the amount for the size you are making to cut out all the parts - back, sides, pockets, etc. I wish there was an easier way to do this but it depends so much on the fabric needed to stitch the designs.

Hi Merle - you need to download the colorchart.zip file that came with the designs. That has all the color charts and the instructions.
    Thanks!

Is there a thread kit available for this design?

Hi Anita, I don't have them made up, but I can put one together for you. This set was done in Admelody thread (which is no longer being made) so I would convert it for you to BFC thread and then make the kit. There are 25 colors in these designs, so the cost would be $55 (this includes a 20% discount) plus shipping.

    Thank you - Suz
