These designs are stitched in one hoop.Many of them have more than one option and some will even fit in an 8x12 hoop. Some have been done totally from scratch, others have been taken from existing designs that needed several sections to be put together.
You will find many designs in this category that have only one size commercial design and it is in DST format. If you need a different size and format, there is a $10 for us to do this (over and above the cost of the design initially) Just email me if you are interested in this telling me the size you wish to have.

When I saw this artwork I immediately thought of Alphonse Mucha, the artist that painted so many beautiful women during the Art Nouveau period. But I couldn't find any connection. If anyone does, I would sure appreciate you letting me know! I've shown Our lady stitched on a mottled green background to simulate being in the forest. I've also shown her with a white background so you can see the details better. There is a lot of sheer stitching which makes this design quicker to stitch than you would expect. It also might show bits here and there of the underlying fabric. So keep this in mind when choosing your background.
I'm starting to do something different with this design. For years I have included a Thread Comparison chart made just for the design in the zip files. Since our thread will soon be gone forever, I am going to start making the conversion charts available before you purchase.

Our cheetah appears above the grasses as the sun drops and casts a large shadow on him, giving a little more courage to go out to hunt. If you wanted you could use a batik or copy of an African sunset to use as his back drop. Yes, he has a lot of stitches, but they result in him seeming to leap off the fabric. He stares right at you! I stitched the large size for my sample. I'm thinking of making him into a pillow with some cheetah print fabric as the back.

There is a lot of black that stitches first - almost half the total stitches. This can be eliminated if you stitch the design on Black Fabric.

This Dragon is magnificent! I wanted to get a rather mysterious look to his project. I first stitched the medium size on a very dark black and brown background (3rd picture). I like the look, but he doesn't stand out that much. I then stitched the large size on a brown Stonehenge fabric by Northcott. I chose the piece of it to use by getting the most of the lighter brown. That was just the look I wanted! I finished the picture with two fabrics of Fairy Frost by Michael Miller . They look like they were made for the background fabric!

I originally created this Santa in 2005 as part of our Victorian Santa set. It has been very popular over the years, but the largest Santa is 9.8 x 5 inches - most are much smaller. With all the large hoops now, I thought these Santas would be perfect as large designs. There are so many possibilities! Use them for tree skirts, grouped pictures, jacket backs. I first did the Tao Dragon in 2008. This was way before large hoops became wide spread. A customer asked whether I could make this into a commercial size (instead of the 8 designs that needed to be aligned in the original version). I gave it a try and I'm so pleased with the result I'm making the Tao Dragon available as a commercial size.

Our Great Blue Heron is a real lesson in mixing thread colors! I eliminated some of the detail in the original painting so it will stitch well. I stitched mine on a heavy light grayish blue cotton. Some of the stitching is sheer and you can control how bright you want your background by choosing different fabric colors. For example, a bright yellow would add a lot of color to the setting sun!
The inidividual Heron could be made into a picture or put him on the back of a denim jacket.

I have done a number of Horse Portraits but have never done a white one and thought it would be a nice way to start the new year with a portrait of a white horse.

Our Moth makes a dramatic statement whether as a picture or wall hanging or on the back of a jacket or on a handbag. The Medium and Large sizes come in two parts with an alignment line. The Jumbo and commercial sizes come as one design file. See below for exact sizes of each design.
The medium size makes a complete moth 11.5 x 6.9 inches, the Large is 13.5 x 5.8 inches, the Jumbo is 11.0 x 5.09 and the Commercial is 13 x 6.
PLEASE NOTE: I have used a lot of shades of turquoise and blue. Many shades bring life to a design even when it's hard to identify the various colors. However, our Moth could be very impressive with fewer colors. Just decide which you will combine and assign your new color to both sections. Delight wanted to explore a different technique when she created her Cheshire with Mushrooms. I've separated out the parts of the design as they make complete accent designs in themselves! Plus you can purchase the commercial sizes for the complete picture. I stitched my commercial size on White Dupioni silk and used Amish Black cotton for the frame. I a so added some crystals in each of the *dots* and the cheshire's eyes.

Delight’s painting of the Raven and it’s Mushrooms is fascinating. This set contains the center motif as a commercial size design and 5 designs to put on the background if you decide to add that.

The winged cat is a theme in artwork and legend going back to prehistory, especially mythological depictions Classical antiquity had many winged creatures such as the winged horse known as a pegasus. There are two references in the Judeo-Christian Bible to winged beasts - usually a lion.
Delight's gorgeous kitty reminds me almost of a Monarch Butterfly! (a customers suggestion!) In this set you will receive two versions of the cat - one wingless and one with wings, and a small design of the mushrooms. You will also receive the entire picture in 3 commercial sizes. If you don't have a large enough hoop for these, you can create a background from grassy, leafy green fabric and a gray and black forest. You could also use a green/brown fabric for the top that looks like tree trunks I experimented with mica powder to create the silvery trails of the fairies - i talk about this in the instructions.

Delight's vision of a mushroom house complete with dragon relaxing on the doorway. I am doing this painting three ways like I did Delight's Daydreams - first, there is this set of individual designs taken from the painting; next will be a commercial size to stitch out the whole painting in one hoop and finally tiled designs to create the painting. Delight's Fantasy Art has joined with BFC to create embroideries from her fantastical art! I am really excited about this. Delight's art covers art for all ages. You can create a baby's quilt with her art or a magnificent fantasy for your living room. She does wonderful dragons, so I have started with them. I've separated out the 3 designs that make up the whole painting. Use all of them, or just one part as an accent design. You receive the entire painting as one design in 4 sizes. I've included instructions for making the wall hanging as shown, especially the handmade beaded fringe.
