BFC1969 Portuguese Azulejos Tiles Quilt Blocks
Instructions included to make these as Quilt in the hoop (QIH) or regular stitched designs.
Azulejos Tiles are everywhere in Portugal. You can see them on churches and monasteries, to palaces, ordinary houses, park seats, fountains, shops, and train stations. Dating from the 13th century they were traditionally done in shades of blue After a while yellow and sometimes green were also added. If you want to do these more traditionally, you could choose a lighter blue for the yellow. The three shades of blue would make a beautiful quilt!
You will have lots of options with this set! You can stitch them as true Quilt in the hoop so you just have to stitch them together when they are done or as regular blocks you seam together. As you can see from the screenshots starting at image 11, most of them can make more than one design of a large block! This will give you a lot of options.

Each design description above will state the sizes the design comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the design comes in all four hoop sizes
