BFC0990 Window-The Light of the Nativity
This nativity glows with light. I have shown it done two ways. The top shows using brown iron on bias tape over the seams and a fabric sashing. You also receive a satin stitch border you can use with the designs. You stitch it after the design is finished and then zig zag the sections together. The second sample shows the sections just seamed together and framed. Done this way, the sections look like hand painted ceramic tiles.
The Jumbo size is 15.6 x 23.4 inches, the medium is 9.8 x 14.7 inches, and the large is 11.6 x 17.4 inches. (just the embroidery, not the frame shown below)

Hi,
I love the design but haven't ever made one like this. Using the option of sewing them together without the trim, how is that done? Is there a seam line in the embroidery that provides that tool?
Thanks,
RhondaJun 23, 2019, 03:51 AMHello Rhonda,
There is no seam line, but it is quite obvious after the design is stitched. We have a Tutorial done by Fred (who did this design) :

You will have to copy that link and paste it into the browser, - I can't paste live links into this section.
