BFC1710 Tiffany's Stained Glass Four Seasons - Spring
tthe four panels of the 4 seasons would make a beautiful statement on a living room, den or dining room wall. Or because of the shape of these designs, 4 pillows on a couch. I will be working on the remaining seasons as time permits.
Finished sizes (without sashings, just the embroidery): Medium Designs 13.75 x 13.75”, Large Designs 16.5” x 16.5”, Jumbo Designs 20.25” x 20.25"

All of our machine embroidery designs will come in any or all of the following hoop sizes: (You will receive links to download the size(s) you purchased and all formats available)
Small for 4 x 4 inch hoop, Medium for 5 x 7 inch hoop, Large for 6 x 10 inch hoop, and Jumbo 8 x 12 inch hoop.
Each design description above will state the sizes the set comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the set comes in all four hoop sizes

What type of stabilizer is suggested? And is the back a finished back? Meaning added to the back before the final edge stitch out.
Jan 17, 2018, 02:50 AMHi Nancy - I use two layers of medium soft tear away stabilizer. This doesn't have a backing. I usually don't use that method on my Stained Glass pieces because it emphasizes the seams. I like a smoother look to the finished piece. You can add sashing (explained in the instructions) and then finish it easily by adding a piece the same size for the backing, stitching them together and turning.

Are the pieces put together in the hoop?
Jan 16, 2018, 11:45 AMHi Judy - no you zig zag them together when they are finished. I've thought about In the hoop but it would make the seams a lot larger. This way I can control the width much easier. Plus the pieces would be apt to move too much considering all the curves in them.

what color was the main background fabric please?
Jan 16, 2018, 08:03 AMHi Constance - I did the sample on white cotton fabric. I used a black marker to touch up the edges where necessary before stitching them together. In the instructions I also suggest if you want a more *antique* look I would use beige or tan - even a gold colored fabric.
