BFC0988 African Masks and Art
African masks can be traced back to well before Paleolithic times. They are sought after as some of the finest creations in the art world. They were an integral part of life and represented spirits, ancestors, or various icons of power. They were worn by dancers during various ceremonies.
These masks used together would make a very dramatic wall hanging. Or take one mask and surround it with African fabrics. They could also be used on pillows, jackets, anywhere you would like the touch of the dramatic.
