BFC1829 Large Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh
See the painting come alive as you stitch it. It would be a perfect gift for any art lover friend. The frame used in our photo is the frame of the actual painting as it hangs in MOMA (Museum of Modern Art in New York - it has hung there since 1941). This very famous painting, painted by the dutch painter Van Gogh in 1889, was painted from his bedroom window in the Saint-Remy- de-Provence just before sunrise.

If this design is stitched out in sections, how do you align and attach the sections?
Jul 5, 2021, 04:49 AMHi Regina, We include full instructions. To see how it works, we have a free tutorial: https://bfc-creations.com/tutorials/free-tutorials-amp-inspiration/tutorial-how-to-do-large-designs-designs-included.html

So if I'm understanding correctly , I will be able to stitch it out all in one hooping. I have a 11x7 hoop.
Feb 10, 2021, 03:39 AMHi Lynn,
No, I'm sorry, the commercial one hooping size is 11 x 8.8 inches.
Thank you - Suz -

Does this stiich out altogether as one pattern? Confused as to why there are different pics of parts of the design.
Feb 8, 2021, 11:15 AMHello Lyn, This can be done two ways. One is stitched as sections to make one large embroidery. And if you ahve a large enough hoop, you also get a commercial size that stitches all in olne hooping. As per the page:
FINISHED SIZES OF EMBROIDERY: Medium – 11 x 8.8 inches, Large – 13.2 x 10.5 inches, Jumbo –17.2 x 13.7 inches. COMMERCIAL SIZE (included with all purchases in DST) 11 x 8.8 inches.
So as you see you need a hoop that will stitch 11 x 6,7 inch design to stitch it all at once.
Thankyou - Suz -

What is the finished product stitch count on this item (Jumbo)? It looks very dense. Thanks.

What fabric was used to stitch the design onto? And what color was it? TIA, Kay
Jun 1, 2019, 10:57 AMHi Kay - Fred used a cotton Batik is shades of blue and Navy. It doesn't have to be a batik, but i always recommend staying with the same colors/color tone when stitching large designs. It doesn't add another color tot he stitching - for e.g. white making it look whiter, black more dark or dull.
Thank you - Suz
