I purchased van Gogh Sunflowers quite some time ago. I was wondering what type of material would work best for the design. Possibly linen or 24 count cross stitch material. Thank you Georgie Farrin
Apr 13, 2022, 10:20 AMHi Gerogie, I would recommend a good quality cotton. Linen is great when you want some of the fabric to show, but with this method of putting together a large picture, it could very easily shift or pucker on you. I haven't tried the cross stitch fabric with embroidery but I would be afraid it might do the same thing. I would stick to a good cotton. For color perhaps anoff white or a light beige would be good. thanks - Suz

I believe my order has been confused with another person. On Sept 16, 2019 I ordered the Van Gogh, Large Flowers. I received the design but have not had time to sew it. I am now ready to sew and I cannot get to the document with instructions. I Printed out the thread changes but intended to use the computer for further information while sewing. My PDF document which I downloaded is corrupted and my computer will not now read it. What can I possibly do as this does not show in my order history. A Jaguar does show and I did not order that. Consequently I believe there is a mixup in assigning the order to an account. Please Help. I previously asked about the weight and weave of fabric you suggest for the base fabric.
Feb 29, 2020, 03:19 PMHi Mary - you have two accounts on our website. I will send the email you used to your email as I don't want to publish it. Log in and if you don't remember the password, you can request help with that. Once you are in your account - go to the orders tab or the Ordered files tab. You need to download the colorchart.zip file to get the correct color charts for echc design.
Thank you - Suz -

What fabric weight and weave did you use for the design to be sewn on.
Feb 29, 2020, 03:22 PMHello Mary, We used a good quality cotton fabric (like Kona).
Thank you - Suz
