BFC1450 FSL Floral Wreath or Centerpiece

Not rated yet

You have a lot of options with these designs and patterns!  Make a wreath for your wall or add candles and use it on your table.  The stuffed Centerpiece can be used with or without lace.  Try lots of different color combinations – I used pastel colors for the Centerpiece to give you an idea how different the designs can look. Add other Free Standing designs like butterflies or bumblebees to add to the flowers. You can also add beads, bits of lace, ribbons and bows. Use some flowers to make napkin rings or decorate the place mats for a beautiful spring table.

I am very intrigued by this wreath and have been trying to research as much as possible before purchasing. Do any of the files associated with the leaves and/or flowers suggest the use of mylar as well? I looked at the size charts and see the number of thread colors and just wasn't sure. I saw where mylar is a possibility on the autumn wreath.

I have never used mylar to embroider with before and thought it might be fun! I want to do something unique for my interior office door.

Hi sonya - you can use Mylar or Angelina Film on any of the designs in this set. I would probaly concentrate more on the flowers just so they will stand out more. Instead of stitching the white lace bits, you could also use some purchased lace or metallic or fancy fabric. I also took out an assortment of beads but didn't use many. This is a really fun project - you get instructions to make one like mine, but there are endless possibilities. I think this is perfet for your office. I hung mine up in my studio for well over a year! Suz

Hi Belinda - you need to download the colorchart.zip file that came with your designs. That is where we put the colorcharts and all instructions.
    Thank you - Suz

    hello,

Can you tell me if we need to embroider wire into the leaves or is there a material list other than thread? I just downloaded a project from another web site thinking it was a simple project that could be completed fairly fast and it is very complicated and will take quite a bit of time. So I am a bit cautious now. Thank you for your help.

Hello Marilyn - no, nothing like wire is needed. I'm going to send the instructions to your email address so you can check it out to see ifou want to do it. It goes together really quickly.
    Thank you - Suz
