BFC0301 Lace Bowl & doily-Watercolor Roses
Roses are always in good taste. This bowl would be the perfect gift for Birthdays, Mothers Day - any Holiday. The roses are done in two shades of apricot so it is easy to change the color to create any color roses you want - just pick two shades of another color. They can also be done in all one color as the stitches will create the shaded effect only slightly less distinct then the sample below. This bowl coordinates with the Watercolor Roses design set. The sample shown is the medium size bowl and measures 8.5 inches in diameter.

Small for 4 x 4 inch hoop, Medium for 5 x 7 inch hoop, Large for 6 x 10 inch hoop, and Jumbo 8 x 12 inch hoop.
Each design description above will state the sizes the set comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the set comes in all four hoop sizes

I am in the process of crating this beautiful bowl. (Ran out of green thread and have more on order.) But need to know in what sequence did you sew the pieces together in order to put the bowl together properly. I did not see any instructions with the bowl.

On the rose bowl, what is the 5 sided piece for??
Mar 28, 2023, 12:21 PMHi Mary - it's an option. You make 5 side panels for it and it makes a taller narrower bowl. It's total up to you which size to use.

What are your Lace bowls embroidered on. Do they have to be on something stiff to stand up?
Aug 13, 2017, 02:31 PMHI Linda, You stitch them on Water soluble Stabilizer. Two popular ones are Vilene and Badgemaster. You don't use any other fabric or stabilizer. After you finish the sections and stitch them together you rinse your bowl or doily according to the manufacturers directions. I like to leave a little in so the bowl will be nice a stiff.
