Our convertible handbags are now standardized! This pattern will be able to be used with any of our convertible Handbag design sets labeled Series A. (There will also be a Series B which will be more like a hobo bag). This handbag is also a great canvas to design your own bags. Use patchwork, embroidery designs, fabric painting and embellishments to create one of kind masterpieces. You receive a complete pattern sheet for each size that includes all the pieces and also patterns for zippered pockets and cell phone pockets. And of course instructions to make your bag with lots of pictures.

In addition you will receive a set of label designs to use with your bags.

This bag comes in 4 sizes: Mini 9.5” wide x 7.5” high x 3” deep; Small 11.5” wide x 9.5” high x 4” deep; Medium 14.5” wide x 12.5” high x 4” deep; Large 16.5” wide x 14.5” high x 4” deep.

This pattern is intended to make the inner bag
for use with any Handbag we offer that is labeled Series A

All of our machine embroidery designs will come in any or all of the following hoop sizes: (You will receive links to download the size(s) you purchased and all formats available)
Small for 4 x 4 inch hoop, Medium for 5 x 7 inch hoop, Large for 6 x 10 inch hoop, and Jumbo 8 x 12 inch hoop.

Each design description above will state the sizes the set comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the set comes in all four hoop sizes

Is this all sewing from a pattern? Not in the hoop?

Yes Edith, it's all sewing. l Hoops weren't big enough in general when I did that bag.

What is an inner handbag? Will this not make a useable bag? Can you please explain how this works? If this is an inner bag are the outer bags??purchased separately

Hi Sandee - Yes, it will make a useable bag, just very plain. I designed this so someone could make one bag and then make different covers to use with it. If you put the word convertible in the search box and hit enter, you will see the bags that go with the Series A and Series B patterns.
