BFC1077 Window-Sending a Christmas Wish
I think is my favorite of Fred's secular Christmas designs. The detail is fantastic and you can actually *feel* her red velvet dress.
You also receive a satin stitch border you can use with the designs. You stitch it after the design is finished and then zig zag the sections together. Or you can use iron on bias tape to finish the seams and make it a real *window*.
The Jumbo size is 15.6 x 23.4 inches, the medium is 9.8 x 14.7 inches, and the large is 11.6 x 17.4 inches. (just the embroidery, not the frame shown below)

I purchased BFC1077 in 2017 with the thread packet but never embroidered it. Today I purchased the jumbo design and downloaded the thread chart. The BFC threads are not listed on the current thread chart. The current chart has Admelody Rayon. Unfortunately I mixed the threads that was in the packet with my other threads. so I don't know which colors I should use. Is there a way to get a thread chart with BFC threads? Thank youOct 7, 2021, 08:57 AM
That set was done in 2011 before BFc thread existed. There is a conversion chart in colorchart.zip file whose link you got with all the format links. It converts Admelody to some major brands. We have a conversion chart from Admelody to BFC on our website. Scroll down all the way on the home page and you will see Conversion Charts. Click there and it's on the right.
Thank you - Suz

Hello Vera - you bought this design before our new website in 2016. But, you can still get your designs. Register on our current site using firstname.lastname@example.org as your user name. Once you have created your account, login and click ont he Ordered files tab. You need the colorchart.zip file for this design.
Thankyou - Suz

Just purchased 1077 girl sending Christmas wish. The thread list printed out for 1074 Tears of Hope. Have not downloaded the pattern & chart yet. this is just from the sales page.Jul 6, 2017, 07:41 PM
Hi Carol - I just fixed the page so the right thread chart comes up. Everything will be fine in the files. This was caused by a typo on the page.
Thank you - Suz

I went to your site to order the thread colors listed for the girls hair and none of the numbers listed in the color charts correspond to the colors listed in your thread colors. Help!!Oct 26, 2016, 09:36 AM
Hi Phyllis, This set was done before we had BFC Thread. There is a conversion chart on the new website from Admelody to BFC. Just scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you will see Conversion Charts. When I do a conversion I take the Thread Conversion Chart and mark down the BFC numbers. If you have any trouble at all with this, please let me know. I'll be glad to help. Suz

This seems like a very daunting project for me, with it having so many stitches, what would be the best fabric to use. I would hate to mess it up with a poor fabric choice. Thanks in advance. PhyllisOct 17, 2016, 05:30 AM
HI Phyllis, there are a lot of stitches, but this is really an easy project. We used a good quilting cotton - you want a firm cotton that doesn't have any stretch to it. The we used two layers of medium weight tear away stabilizer. And we use a size 11 needle. the smaller needle slides through all the stitches much easier. Be sure you fabric is firm in your hoop. We wrap our hoops - this is a great article by Joan Warr from Embroidery Library if you haven't done this: http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/ELProjects/Projects.aspx?productid=PR1138
You will have to copy the link and paste it in your browser as I don't believe links come through in this form.
