BFC1500 Art Quilt Project Approach of the Three Kings - Background
You will learn a lot of different techniques making this Art Quilt. This first set creates the background. It uses very simple techniques that add a lot of texture and interest to your project. Full instructions and an actual size Template and Pattern are included. The main materials are cotton fabric and Organza. You can even stitch the designs on Organza and applique them to your quilt! (No lining up). But if you decide to stitch directly onto your quilt, the designs can be placed however you like.

Re. BFC1500 Art Quilt Project Approach of the Three Kings - Background
I thought I was buying a kit. With that in mind, do you recommend silk organza? Where to buy? Is Walmart quality okay (regular organza)?

Hi Anne, I'm sorry you misunderstood! If we are selling a kit it will be separate form the designs and list the materials you receive. Walmart will be fine! It's not so much the quality of the fabrics for a project like this as the colors. And Walmart often has other sheer fabrics that might work well. They might be stocking Christmas fabrics now and you might find some with flecks or gold, or tiny starts.
