The 3 I announced a few days ago were gone aomst immediately.  These have really nice colrs (I raided more of my stash to do them).  Please allow extra time for shipping.  There will not be a lot of each set of 10 cones. As I use up colors I will adjust what is in the sets or create new sets :)

Remember there is free  shipping in the US for orders of $35 or more!  If you are buying one set, you could add a two or three metallic cones, or maybe some beads or other embellishments to make up the difference.

BFC32172 The Jazz Cats 

I couldn't think of a good name for this design until I had stitched it and laid it out on the table.  I looked and saw music (the lines at the top) and the expression on the faces I could see some good Jazz Music.  LOL  There is a large variety of sizes so you can use these kitties on many projects!  I plan on making a tote bag, but you can also frame them, use them on clothing, as a jacket back - or a fun pillow!

Sushi Cat 1

I wonder what cats would do with a big plate of Sushi in front of them!  They would either all try to dive in at once or some would fight each other for a spot and end up not getting any. :)

Dupioni Silk Fat Quarters!

Silk is a wonderful fabric - probably my favorite of all.  It can be strong, heavy, light as a whisper - any texture you want.  It is also easy to care for.  Many kinds can be washed, all can easily be wiped off in most cases.  I especially like the Dupioni silk because of its texture and often iridescent qualities.  It embroiders beautifully!  It is decorative without taking away from the embroidery.  I love to embroider a design on it and then applique that to a shirt - a strip down the front, a pocket, even a large circle or triangle for a large embroidery on the back!  These Fat Quarters are all 18 inches x at least 18 inches wide.  But many are way wider because of the width of the fabric.   We cut the FQ's by cutting an 18 inch high strip and then folding that in half and cutting it.  We don't trim to 18 x 18.  

I have also made complete lap quilts with silk and also used it for a lot of handbags.  And of course crazy quilts!
