Columbines are often overlooked. Yet they have a very intricate and graceful form and come in a myriad of colors making them perfect for decoration. These designs are appropriate for garments, linens, totes and quilts. The corner designs would be perfect for placemats or a table runner. In the large size, one design at the bottom of a long black skirt would make a dramatic statement. Bernice, a customer, sent me photographs from her garden of her Columbines and they soon became this set of designs. Thank you Bernice for the inspiration!
