BFC1797 QIH or Reg Swirling Colors Part 2
There will be a total of 20 of these delightfully colorful designs. Use them in a quilt, tablecloths, place mats, curtain borders, a fancy pocket on a shirt or jacket, or a handbag or tote. You can use this same design to use Angelina or small pieces of fabric, to quilt the design in the hoop, to make it an in the Hoop design or a regular design. The square with the black border was done with Angelina - it really sparkles in person!
I've added two screen shots of how different these blocks look with different colors. The first are easy - just choose one color for all the sections and black for everything else. For the pink and green block I just some changed some pinks to green and used lighter pinks.

I was looking at the new swirls designs and you mentioned you used Angelina. Would you explain the application/how to use the Angelina product please?
Thank you.Feb 22, 2019, 07:37 AMHi Judy, Because these swirls are sheer designs they are perfect for Angelina film. The first color stop is an outline stitch. You cut a piece of Angelina film a little larger and secure it (i use tape). the you stitch the next outline and then remove the excess film. The you stitch the design as normal. It's hard to show in a photograph, but the final design will be very sparkly!
Thank you - Suz
