BFC1917 Large Andalusian in the Wind
Andalusian Horses come from the Iberian Peninsula in Spain and date back to the fifteenth century when it was recognized as a distinct breed. In addition to a courageous spirit they are extremely intelligent. They are perfect for dressage as they love to perform. They were often used in the military though they have a very calm temperament. Even Shakespeare preferred Andalusians!
This design is solid for the head and neck and the body around it is sheer. As you can see in the design stitched on green fabric, the fabric will show a little towards the outer sections. It can also be stitched on white for a more solid look. I haven't tried it, but you might even be able to stitch the design without all the white that stitches first. It would be a more sketchy design but could be very interesting in the right places.
Each design comes in two versions - one has more of the body showing and is wider. You can see the two versions on the gray background, the first is the fuller design and the second is the narrow one. The narrower one allows me to make the overall design larger. Small for 4 x 4 inch hoop, Medium for 5 x 7 inch hoop, Large for 6 x 10 inch hoop, and Jumbo 8 x 12 inch hoop.
Each design description above will state the sizes the design comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the design comes in all four hoop sizes
