MEV-096 Golden Brown/Black
This thread adds a lot of richness to an embroidery. You can even use it for fur in a fantasy design.
1000m cones, 40 wt, Poly core
Polyester filament yarn covered with a cut metallic film at regular intervals. This high-grade metallic thread is made for embroidery, embellishment and all other decorative applications. It runs exceptionally well with all embroidery threads on all embroidery machines. In my personal experience, there was no breaking in 40,000 stitches when using a thread net, a size 14 needle and slowing the machine to 500 stitches per minute. I have run this metallic thread at 1300 stitches per minute - the thread broke, but it stitched quite a while before it did!

Is this sutable for garments for more for wall art ? How do you wash it?
May 2, 2025, 01:28 PMIt's appropriate for either use. It's fully washable - I put garments with metallic thread in my washer, i just don't put them int he dryer. I tried them in the dryer and they came out fine, but I feel safer just hanging them to dry. :)

Hello, I have your thread chart and all your thread that was available when I ordered it. If a thread doesn’t show up on your database is it safe to say it is discontinued. I am assuming if it was available (not discontinued) it would say out of stock. Thank you
