BFC2255 The Rose Stained Glass
You can use these designs in many ways. I designed it as a picture, but as I looked at the pictures of the individual sections I realized they could be used in different ways. Use the rose as a large coaster or small doily, put the two top outer designs together - I've shown this before the image of the freebie above. Or put several of the Rose sections for the center of a table cloth or even a quilt! Then scatter the various size of the individual roses on the rest of the quilt. Instructions included.
The Medium size makes a 8.6 x 8.6 inch square, the Large a 10.4 x 10.4 and the Jumbo a 12 by 12 inch picture.

Small for 4 x 4 inch hoop, Medium for 5 x 7 inch hoop, Large for 6 x 10 inch hoop, and Jumbo 8 x 12 inch hoop.
Each design description above will state the sizes the design comes in: S, M, L, J standing for Small, Medium, Large and Jumbo. These will be written SML, meaning Small, Medium and Large, or perhaps MLJ, meaning Medium Large and Jumbo, or even SMLJ meaning the design comes in all four hoop sizes

Could this be stitched on organza to be made into a sun catcher or used on a light box? Thanks
Aug 4, 2026, 07:28 AMHi Christine - I think that is a great idea. I would use two layers at least for the Rose design itself. It has regular density where the other 5 designs are sheer stitching. I think it would really look great with a organza with a little sparkle or maybe a yellow tint for sunshine!
Thanks for asking - Suz PS - take one of the lower corner designs to try, they are the fewest stitches so they won't be long to test.
