I can see this thread used as the darker purple on purple/lavender flowers. It would look really pretty mixed in with other purples for pansies especially!

Polyester filament yarn covered with a cut metallic film at regular intervals. This high-grade metallic thread is made for embroidery, embellishment and all other decorative applications. It runs exceptionally well with all embroidery threads on all embroidery machines. In my personal experience, there was no breaking in 40,000 stitches when using a thread net, a size 14 needle and slowing the machine to 500 stitches per minute. I have run this metallic thread at 1300 stitches per minute - the thread broke, but it stitched quite a while before it did!
pat mingNov 12, 2019, 10:32 AMI really tike using this thread. Variegated thread is good for some projects, but this gives texture to any project. The green is great for leaves and foliage. My only complaint is that it does not come in more colors. I would like to see red, a pale-medium pink, bright yellow, orange, light green, and a couple shades of blue and turquoise. It would make a spectacular rainbow of colors for a bouquet. Blessed day pat
